In Lucknow, a member of the State Women's Commission named Priyanka Maurya reported receiving a prank call from unknown individuals requesting her personal details. Allegedly posing as the personal assistants of the chief minister's principal secretary and the DM of Unnao, the callers contacted her and asked for personal information. Priyanka suspected that the opposing party was attempting to damage her reputation through deception. A complaint was filed at the Krishnanagar police station, and a case has been opened based on the allegations. The first call was received on September 9 while Priyanka was at home, followed by another call on September 30, both inquiring about her personal information for a supposed important task. Taking the matter seriously, she reported it to the police. The Deputy Commissioner of Police for the South Zone, Keshav Kumar, confirmed that an FIR had been lodged and an investigation was underway.
